Jennifer and the Cultivating Place team explore the power of gardens to affect positive change through the lens of a fiber artist, Sandy Fisher, and her husband, Durl Van Alstyne, living in Interior Northern California and now cultivating a regenerative no-till and habitat-rich flax farm in order to regenerate our fiber industry into one that is good for people, good for planet, and good for place! The conversation makes visible and tangible the power of gardeners to grow the world better.

The story of RISE + La Casa: RISE is partnering with La Casa to use the entrepreneurial process to solve the problem of a lack of a community commercial kitchen in South Bend. The Story of Black Fridays: Antwan Wilson is a member of RISE's Applied Entrepreneurship Program (AEP) and his business, Black Fridays, provides marketing and events space for small business owners.

The Angel Box is a resourceful box for female teens struggling with their mental health. The box changes each season with new items that support mental well-being. Angel Box was founded by two teens who recognized the need to help fellow teens in their community. Their goal at Angel Box is to give teens the tools to cope and overall lead a happier life.

The story of Intellibros: Connor Wueller and Nash Brown are students from DeKalb High School and they created Intellibros. IntelliKits provides hands-on kits for students to learn about different STEM subjects. Students follow instructions to put these kits together to create a real working end product.
